Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Engineers: Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software components.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Documentation: Participate in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including API documentation and design specs.
- Debugging & Support: Identify, isolate, and fix software bugs and performance issues in existing systems.
- Agile Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an agile development environment.
- Learning & Growth: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends within the software engineering landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and propose logical, efficient solutions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer break.
