Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of avionics software and systems.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile development environment.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues using industry-standard tools and languages.
- Document code changes and technical specifications to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams.
- Attend technical workshops and training sessions to enhance your skillset.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting.
- Willingness to relocate to Wichita, KS for the summer duration.
