Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions for next-generation automotive platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python, Java, or C++ under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups), and architectural planning sessions.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex system issues, proposing innovative fixes to improve performance and reliability.
- Contribute to technical documentation and participate in internal knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Engage in weekly mentorship sessions to align your learning goals with company projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and version control systems (Git/GitHub) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Must be available to work full-time during the summer months (May – August).
- Willingness to relocate to the Detroit metropolitan area for the duration of the internship.
