Apex Innovations is seeking a high-potential Summer/Fall Intern to join our dynamic engineering team in Fort Worth, Texas. Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and web platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define feature requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to ensure system stability and performance.
- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain version control repositories (Git).
- Attend regular team meetings and sprint planning sessions to stay aligned with project goals.
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to team challenges.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong academic record with a focus on core programming concepts (Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design).
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
- Understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024.
