Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology strategies with long-term business goals, forecasting emerging tech trends like Generative AI and Edge Computing.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead internal research and development projects, validating feasibility and ROI for experimental technologies before full-scale implementation.
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Oversee the design of scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures capable of handling the demands of the next decade.
- Strategic Vendor Management: Evaluate and select strategic technology partners, negotiating contracts for cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, and hardware solutions.
- Drive Digital Transformation: Champion a culture of innovation across departments, ensuring that adoption of new technologies drives measurable business growth.
- Budget Oversight: Manage multi-million dollar technology budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
Qualifications
- Executive Leadership: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, including at least 5 years in a Director or C-level role managing large engineering teams.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to articulate a clear technology vision and translate complex technical concepts into business value for stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of software architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), machine learning, and blockchain technologies.
- Project Management: PMP or similar advanced certification; experience managing complex, multi-year technology transformation projects.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to boards of directors and technical teams alike.
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
