Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ scenario models using quantitative/qualitative foresight methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies and paradigm shifts
- Produce strategic white papers and trend briefs for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-facing innovation portfolios
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and industry summits
- Build and manage a network of futurist thought leaders across sectors
- Integrate sustainability and ESG factors into long-term strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex insights for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Published research in futurism or strategy journals
- Experience with AI/ML applications in trend forecasting
