Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech domains
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps integrating exponential technologies with market opportunities
- Produce forward-looking scenarios and risk assessments for board-level decision-making
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Deliver keynotes and thought leadership at global industry conferences
- Mentor teams in strategic foresight methodologies and future literacy
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in scenario planning, weak signal detection, and technology adoption curves
- Published author or keynote speaker on future trends (TEDx, WEF, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Experience leading cross-cultural, multidisciplinary innovation teams
