Metro Tech Solutions is seeking a passionate and driven Summer Intern to join our growing Marketing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and content strategy within one of Detroit's most innovative business districts.
As a Summer Intern, you won't just be making coffee—you'll be contributing to real campaigns that impact our client's bottom line. You will work closely with senior strategists, sharpening your analytical skills and learning how to craft compelling narratives that drive traffic and engagement.

Responsibilities
- SEO & Content Optimization: Conduct keyword research and assist in optimizing web content for search engines to improve organic rankings.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor website performance using Google Analytics 4; track key metrics and prepare weekly performance reports for the team.
- Content Creation: Write engaging blog posts, social media captions, and email newsletters under the guidance of senior copywriters.
- Research & Strategy: Assist in competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and algorithm updates.
- Project Support: Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for user experience and SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field (rising Junior or Senior preferred).
- Skills: Basic understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms (WordPress) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program (June - August).
