Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern languages and frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex technical issues and contribute to troubleshooting efforts for both desktop and mobile applications.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and user manuals to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure project milestones are met.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript. Familiarity with React, Node.js, or AWS is a plus.
- Academic Performance: Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems efficiently.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2025 for a minimum of 12 weeks.
