Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy IoT sensors for soil moisture and crop monitoring systems
- Analyze agricultural datasets using Python and machine learning models
- Support field trials for drone-based crop health assessment technology
- Collaborate on sustainable irrigation optimization projects
- Document research findings and present technical reports
- Assist in beta-testing AgriTech's proprietary farm management software
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and innovation workshops
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Basic proficiency in Python, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Strong interest in agricultural technology or sustainable farming practices
- Ability to work 40 hours/week in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license for occasional field site visits
- Available to start between June 1 - September 1, 2023
