Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage campers aged 6-14 in daily activities including arts, sports, and STEM projects
- Assist senior counselors in implementing structured lesson plans and safety protocols
- Lead small-group activities and foster positive peer interactions among campers
- Help maintain clean and organized camp facilities and equipment
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and daily updates
- Participate in weekly training sessions and team-building exercises
- Document camper achievements and assist in program evaluations
Qualifications
- Must be 15-18 years old and currently enrolled in high school
- Strong enthusiasm for working with children in outdoor/educational settings
- Ability to demonstrate responsibility, patience, and creativity
- Basic knowledge of childhood development principles preferred
- Availability to work June 1-August 15, 2025 (20-30 hours/week)
- Must pass background check and provide proof of vaccination
- Reliable transportation to/from camp location
- Experience with team sports or creative arts a plus
