Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage campers aged 6-14 in daily activities including sports, arts, and nature exploration
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with weekly themes
- Ensure camper safety through proactive supervision and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily schedules and special events
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and activities
- Lead team-building exercises and foster inclusive group dynamics
- Assist with administrative tasks including attendance tracking and supply management
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school or college program (preferred education, recreation, or psychology majors)
- Experience working with children in group settings (camp, school, or volunteering)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be available Monday-Friday, 9AM-4PM from June 15th to August 15th
- Clear background check and child safety clearances required
