Responsibilities
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment and community events across Memphis neighborhoods
- Conduct surveys and compile data on community needs using CRM tools
- Assist in grant research and application preparation for local initiatives
- Develop social media content promoting neighborhood programs
- Support logistics for pop-up community resource fairs
- Document program outcomes and prepare impact reports
- Collaborate with city officials and nonprofit partners
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college program (any major) with 2+ years completed
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Interest in Memphis community development or public policy
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Availability for 15-25 hours/week through August 2024
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools preferred
