Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Analyze network traffic logs to identify potential cyber threats
- Participate in tabletop cybersecurity incident response simulations
- Document security incidents using NIST framework standards
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
- Contribute to threat intelligence research and reporting
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Available for full-time commitment (40 hours/week) for 12 weeks
