About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a driven and analytical Summer Intern to join our growing Data Analytics team in Houston, TX. This is a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects that directly impact our business strategy.
As an intern, you will work directly with senior data analysts to uncover insights from complex datasets. You will learn how to build dashboards, clean messy data, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection, cleaning, and validation processes.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Perform statistical analysis to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
- Prepare weekly reports and presentations for management.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic statistics and mathematics.
- Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Currently enrolled for the Summer 2023 semester.
