Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather and clean large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Analysis & Modeling: Assist in building data models and performing statistical analysis to solve business problems.
- Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data pipelines and analysis processes.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- GPA: Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL (SELECT, JOINs, Aggregations) and basic Python (Pandas, NumPy) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer months.
