Responsibilities
- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Python and SQL.
- Assist in the development, training, and testing of machine learning models to predict business trends.
- Create clear, compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI for stakeholder presentations.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data pipelines into production environments.
- Document technical findings, algorithms, and methodologies in a shared team repository.
- Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (graduating class of 2025 or 2026).
- Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be available for the full 12-week summer program.
