Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and network connectivity issues during night operations.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software assets.
- Document technical procedures and update internal knowledge bases with nightly findings.
- Respond to and resolve incoming help desk tickets with high priority and accuracy.
- Analyze system logs and generate performance reports for the morning shift handover.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure 24/7 business continuity.
- Perform routine backups and data integrity checks.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) starting this Summer/Fall.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
