Responsibilities
- Develop & Code: Write clean, efficient, and testable code in Python, Java, or JavaScript under the guidance of senior engineers.
- System Design: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and backend services.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex issues in existing systems and propose efficient technical solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals.
- Testing: Work closely with the QA team to identify bugs and ensure software quality before deployment.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go).
- Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Attitude: A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and solve challenging problems.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately for the Summer/Fall session.
