Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test engineering solutions for defense and energy systems
- Analyze complex data using Python/MATLAB and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams on R&D projects with real-world applications
- Participate in rapid prototyping sessions using 3D printing and CAD tools
- Present findings to senior engineers through technical reports and presentations
- Support compliance testing and quality assurance protocols
- Shadow field engineers during site assessments and system installations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering)
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent academic standing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB programming languages
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
- US citizenship required due to government contract requirements
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-40 hours/week during summer/fall semester
