Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy.
- Optimize on-page content, meta tags, and headings to improve search engine rankings.
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of our client websites using WordPress and HTML.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and provide weekly performance reports.
- Create engaging blog posts, social media copy, and digital assets.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency across all web properties.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelorās or Associateās degree program (Marketing, Communications, English, or Computer Science preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic SEO principles and search engine algorithms.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet weekly deadlines.
- Must be available to work in our Oakland office (Hybrid/On-site) or have reliable transportation.
