Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Screening: Assist in identifying and screening potential candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking events.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interview logistics for technical candidates, ensuring a smooth experience for both the applicant and the hiring team.
- Database Management: Maintain and update candidate databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities to support strategic hiring initiatives.
- Content Creation: Assist in drafting job descriptions and social media content to attract top talent in the tech sector.
- Event Support: Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events in Louisville and surrounding Virginia areas.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week during the Summer/Fall terms.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software tools.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Location: Based in or willing to commute to Louisville, KY; remote candidates in Virginia are encouraged to apply.
