Responsibilities
- Collaborate on Development: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software solutions under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in Agile Sprints: actively engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
- Code Review & Debugging: Review pull requests, identify potential bugs, and contribute to the refinement of code quality and architecture.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Research & Analysis: Stay current with industry trends and technologies, conducting research to propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
- User Testing Support: Assist in the QA process by testing new features and providing feedback on user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Web Basics: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Academic Standing: A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer break (June - August).
