Locations: Baltimore, MD and Northern Virginia (Fairfax/Reston). Please indicate preference in application.
Responsibilities
- Assist with community needs assessments and data collection
- Support grant research and proposal writing
- Create visual reports and presentations using GIS tools
- Attend community meetings and stakeholder interviews
- Develop recommendations for urban improvement projects
- Document project progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pilot programs
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in high school, college, or graduate program
- Strong interest in urban planning, public policy, or social sciences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Basic knowledge of GIS or mapping tools preferred
- Valid driver's license for local travel (if applicable)
