Responsibilities
- Support community outreach events and public engagement initiatives across Miami neighborhoods
- Assist in researching local policy issues and compiling data-driven reports
- Coordinate with city officials and community stakeholders on collaborative projects
- Develop content for social media and digital communication platforms
- Participate in neighborhood revitalization planning sessions
- Track program metrics and prepare impact assessment summaries
- Support logistical planning for public forums and town hall meetings
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college/university program (any major)
- Strong interest in local government, public policy, or community development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Available 20-25 hours/week between May-August 2024
