Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate interactive educational programs for K-12 school groups
- Research and create supplemental teaching materials aligned with current exhibitions
- Assist with visitor engagement initiatives at museum galleries and information desks
- Collaborate with curatorial staff to develop age-appropriate content
- Participate in cross-departmental projects including digital outreach initiatives
- Document program outcomes and visitor feedback for continuous improvement
- Support special summer events and weekend programming
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate program (sophomore/junior status preferred)
- Strong interest in museum education, history, or cultural studies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, public-facing environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
- Previous customer service or teaching experience preferred
- Must be available 20-30 hours per week for 10-12 weeks
- Authorized to work in the United States
