Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise systems during overnight shifts, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Respond to and resolve IT tickets, including hardware/software troubleshooting and user support
- Assist with network administration tasks, including configuration updates and performance analysis
- Document system changes, incident reports, and operational procedures using ITIL standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and security patch deployments
- Participate in after-hours system testing and validation for new implementations
- Support data backup and recovery processes during low-traffic periods
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Ability to work flexible overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Valid driver's license (for occasional off-site support)
