Responsibilities
- Monitor System Operations: Oversee network performance and troubleshoot technical issues during night hours to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Data Management: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets to support evening reporting cycles.
- Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to internal clients and external partners via email and ticketing systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of system changes, incidents, and nightly procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the day shift team to hand over critical status updates and project deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and suggest modernization strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week during the summer, specifically including night shifts (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to work independently with high attention to detail and punctuality.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
