Responsibilities
- Assist weekend technical operations: Support daily IT infrastructure tasks and system maintenance on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Monitor system performance: Track application uptime and response times, escalating critical issues to senior engineers.
- Collaborate with the team: Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless weekend coverage.
- Document processes: Create and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Customer support: Provide basic troubleshooting support to internal staff during peak weekend hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (rising Junior or Senior preferred).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking, hardware, or software troubleshooting.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and work independently.
- Time Management: Proven ability to balance academic responsibilities with work schedules.
