Responsibilities
- Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test high-quality software components.
- Agile Participation: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to team velocity.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and technical issues in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, API specs, and user guides.
- Testing: Participate in unit testing and integration testing to ensure software reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academics: Must be able to obtain college credit for this internship (check with your institution's requirements).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).
- Foundations: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and development tools.
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-40 hours per week during the summer break.
