Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach to local businesses and community organizations for partnership development
- Assist with planning and executing neighborhood improvement events (e.g., park cleanups, mural projects)
- Support data collection and analysis for urban development initiatives
- Manage social media channels to highlight community impact stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on grant research and reporting
- Document project progress and maintain digital asset libraries
- Participate in weekly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Sacramento area college/university (any major)
- Available for 15-20 hours/week between June-December 2024
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Interest in urban planning, community development, or public service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be authorized to work in the US
