Responsibilities
- Develop and test IoT sensors for precision agriculture systems
- Analyze crop data using machine learning algorithms to optimize yield
- Collaborate on drone-based field monitoring projects
- Create technical documentation for new agricultural software tools
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and innovation workshops
- Support field trials in Central Valley farms
- Present project findings to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, Agriculture, or related program
- Basic proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work 40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks (June-August)
- Valid driver's license for occasional field visits
- Experience with GIS software preferred
