Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test software solutions using modern technologies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Participate actively in code reviews, agile sprint planning meetings, and technical design discussions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Assist in the deployment of applications to cloud environments and perform basic system administration tasks.
- Create technical documentation, API specifications, and user guides to support project deliverables.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities provided by the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the summer and fall semester.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
