Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist the development team in coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, and marketing) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Documentation: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following company coding standards and best practices.
- Testing: Participate in quality assurance processes, including unit testing and integration testing.
- Communication: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Research: Research emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to existing processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or similar programming languages like Python or Java).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently to solve problems.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time for the summer duration (minimum 12 weeks).
