Responsibilities
- Support neighborhood revitalization initiatives through data collection and community survey coordination
- Assist in planning and executing local events (e.g., farmers markets, cultural festivals)
- Research and compile reports on municipal policies affecting youth and education
- Engage with residents via social media and community outreach programs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on sustainability projects
- Document meeting proceedings and draft communications for public distribution
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (undergraduate or graduate)
- Availability for 20-30 hours/week during summer term (June-August)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools
- Interest in public administration, urban planning, or social sciences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse teams
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
