Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Assist the content team in drafting and editing blog posts, social media captions, and press releases.
- SEO Support: Conduct keyword research and analyze competitor strategies to improve our search engine rankings.
- Social Media Management: Monitor social media channels, engage with our community, and schedule content using tools like Buffer or Hootsuite.
- Market Research: Gather and analyze data on market trends, audience demographics, and industry news.
- Project Coordination: Support the project management team by updating task boards and organizing meeting materials.
- Performance Analysis: Track basic engagement metrics and prepare weekly reports for the marketing team.
- Event Support: Assist in coordinating summer and fall internship events, including logistics and attendee communication.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer 2024 and commit to at least 12 weeks.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in digital marketing, social media trends, and SEO.
