Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior developers and product managers to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for web and mobile applications under supervision.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in testing features, identifying bugs, and ensuring software quality and performance.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, API specs, and internal wikis to support team knowledge sharing.
- Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to learn best practices and improve coding standards.
- Agile Meetings: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to stay aligned with project goals.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and propose innovative solutions to team challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming concepts (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# preferred).
- Web Basics: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently on assigned tasks.
- Availability: Ability to commit to at least 15-20 hours per week during the Summer/Fall semester.
