Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of scalable web-based applications.
- Participate actively in agile software development cycles, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in various programming languages.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product managers.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++ is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to commit to 20-25 hours per week during the summer/fall semester.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
