As a Summer Intern, you will collaborate directly with our leadership team, contribute to ongoing projects, and develop a strong foundation for your future career in business and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Assist the marketing team with data collection, market research analysis, and report preparation.
- Support the coordination of local community events and promotional activities in Long Beach.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Manage social media channels and engage with our local audience to drive engagement.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical project files for the department.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (must be eligible for college credit).
- No prior professional experience required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Strong interest in marketing, communications, or business administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) is a plus.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week during the summer.
