Job Description
We are looking for a driven and eager Summer Intern to join our development team in San Diego. This is an Immediate Hire position designed for university students who need to earn college credit while launching their professional career in the tech industry.
As a Summer Intern at Apex Digital Innovations, you will work on real-world projects that impact millions of users. You will collaborate with senior engineers, participate in agile sprints, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Assist software engineers in designing, coding, and testing new features for our web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to improve application performance and stability.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions.
- Create technical documentation, including API documentation and user guides.
- Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies relevant to the projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Must be able to receive college credit for this internship (official transcripts required upon offer).
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
