Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Development Lifecycle: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test high-quality software applications using modern technologies.
- Code Quality & Review: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code while actively participating in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve bugs in existing software systems, working closely with QA teams to ensure product stability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals to support project delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, communicating progress and blockers effectively to cross-functional teams.
- Research & Learning: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions to internal challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript. Familiarity with SQL and version control (Git) is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer internship (12 weeks).
