Role Overview
As an Intern, you will support our development and engineering teams by contributing to software design, testing, and implementation. This is a full-time or part-time role depending on your academic schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and web platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and wikis.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers.
- Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and technical training sessions.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend improvements to our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in programming fundamentals and data structures.
- Familiarity with at least one major web development framework (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be available to start immediately or in Summer/Fall 2024.
