Responsibilities
- Develop & Test: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software applications under supervision.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specs and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Research: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions.
- Support: Debug existing codebases and resolve technical issues reported by internal stakeholders.
- Learning: Complete assigned training modules and technical workshops to enhance skill sets.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript) and basic understanding of SQL.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically under pressure.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the Summer/Fall 2024 term.
