Responsibilities
- Support the marketing and communications team in executing daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Assist in managing social media channels and creating engaging content for our target audience.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Prepare reports and data analysis presentations for weekly team meetings.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently.
- Assist in organizing and promoting community outreach events in the Long Beach area.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for team projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree program (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field).
- Strong interest in marketing, business operations, or community engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be available to work full-time during the summer months (40 hours/week).
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
