Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure components on AWS and Azure platforms
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Assist in implementing cybersecurity protocols including firewall management and intrusion detection
- Create technical documentation for system configurations and processes
- Support hardware/software installations and maintenance across 200+ workstations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on agile development projects
- Participate in weekly innovation sprints to propose technical solutions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, or PowerShell)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work 40 hours/week during summer term (June-August)
- US citizenship required due to government project involvement
- GPA 3.0 or higher preferred
