Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure components
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of hardware/software issues
- Document IT processes and create knowledge base articles
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and data protection protocols
- Collaborate on cloud platform integration and optimization projects
- Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements
- Shadow senior engineers during system upgrades and migrations
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during Summer/Fall 2023
- Relevant coursework or personal projects demonstrating technical aptitude
