Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Assist in cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Create technical documentation for system configurations and processes
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Support end-user IT troubleshooting and helpdesk operations
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows command-line interfaces
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of Python or scripting languages preferred
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week during summer term
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification a plus
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
