Responsibilities
- Support network infrastructure monitoring and maintenance across federal systems
- Assist with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document technical procedures and create system documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration projects
- Research emerging technologies and provide implementation recommendations
- Participate in Agile development sprints as a QA support role
- Manage ticket queues and provide Tier-1 technical support
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related bachelor's program
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, encryption)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work 20-40 hours/week during summer/fall
- Must be eligible for US government clearance
