Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, chat, and remote access
- Deploy and configure Windows/Linux systems in cloud/on-premise environments
- Monitor network infrastructure using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Document SOPs and create knowledge base articles for IT processes
- Assist with cybersecurity audits and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects including cloud migration initiatives
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation for critical system monitoring
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Sophomore/Junior status preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, networking fundamentals, and virtualization
- Experience with command-line interfaces and scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer service mindset
- Available for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) 8am-5pm with flexible weekday hours
- CompTIA A+/Network+ certification or equivalent coursework preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
