Responsibilities
- Monitor network security systems and respond to alerts during night shifts
- Assist in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain incident response logs
- Collaborate with SOC analysts on threat intelligence analysis
- Support patch management and system hardening initiatives
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Contribute to forensic investigations during security incidents
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Available for night shift (11 PM - 7 AM) June-August 2023
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners)
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred
